Flip the Switch
1. Back to Basics
Relax and reset your brain. Getting back to basics is a way to 'set the mood', so to speak, or 'clear your mind', so you can move forward unencumbered by the sometimes, or usual, negative vibe that is plaguing so many of us today.
If necessary, these methods should be employed daily, for example, first thing in the morning and even periodically throughout the day. They are meant to relieve stress and prepare the way for achieving success building tasks and objectives.
Technique 1: Take time out of your day to take your mind back in time, like being a baby experiencing life for the very first time. Everything is new and adventurous!
Technique 2: Get your 5 senses going and enjoy God's creation!

-
Enjoy seeing the incredible beauty He's created. For example, check out some nearby waterfalls or take a trip to the zoo.
-
Maybe take a stroll through a park to hear the birds chirping.
-
Take time out of your day to 'smell the roses', or whatever flower you like the most and don't have an allergy to.
-
When was the last time you threw together a variety of fruit in a big bowl to taste the deliciousness of His nourishment or take off your shoes and socks to feel the sand between your toes at the beach or even the grass in your own backyard?
Technique 3: Last, but not least, take time to simply relax. Sit or lie down and perform some easy, deep breathing while closing your eyes to concentrate on positive and uplifting thoughts of your happy place or things that make you feel better about life.
2. Flipping the Switch

It's symbolic of an ordinary light switch. You turn off the old you and turn on the new you. From this point on, you are actively implementing all the methods that will help you achieve your goals and dreams.
"We are free to choose our paths, but we can't choose the consequences that come with them." — Sean Covey. Every decision will bring about some form of consequences, good or bad. We can make our own choices but we should do so carefully.
